Nepal Elections: Weekly Alcohol Ban, Border Sealed for 72 Hours.

The Election Commission declared on Wednesday that alcohol sales and consumption will be completely banned across the country seven days before voting. The India-Nepal border will be fully closed from midnight on March 3 to midnight on March 5. In border areas like Biratnagar, Araria, and Nawalparasi, SSB and Nepali security forces will conduct joint patrols. Vigilance will be maintained against infiltration, smuggling, and illegal activities.
