Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the sacred day of the birth of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, is not only an occasion for joy and celebration but also an opportunity to strengthen our faith, love, and unity. The Holy Quran and Hadith repeatedly emphasize that love for Allah’s Messenger and his family is obligatory for every Muslim. Yet, some individuals, swayed by the whispers of Shaitan, raise objections to the processions and programs held on this sacred occasion. This article, with references to Quranic verses, highlights the significance of this love and invites our brothers to join this celebration with peace and unity.
### The Importance of Love for the Prophet in the Holy Quran
The Holy Quran declares love for the Prophet and his family as essential for every Muslim. In Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:31), Allah says:
**“Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive your sins.”**
This verse clearly indicates that obedience and love for the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is the path to earning Allah’s love.
Similarly, in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:56), Allah states:
**“Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings and peace upon him.”**
This verse not only highlights the virtue of sending Durood-e-Pak but also teaches that expressing love for the Prophet is a duty of every Muslim.
### The Joy of the Prophet’s Birth: The Quran’s Message
Some people question whether the Prophet’s birth was celebrated after his time. The Holy Quran provides the answer. In Surah Maryam (19:15), regarding Hazrat Yahya Alaihissalam, Allah says:
**“And peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is raised alive.”**
Likewise, the glad tidings of Hazrat Isa Alaihissalam’s birth are mentioned in Surah Maryam (19:19). When Allah Himself declares the birth of His prophets as good news, how can celebrating the birth of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, the leader of all prophets, be considered wrong?
### Beware of Shaitan’s Deceptions
Shaitan’s mission is to create division among Muslims and prevent them from performing righteous deeds. Some people object to processions, Naat recitations, or other programs, but if these are conducted within the boundaries of Islam and the Indian Constitution, there is no room for objection. Such objections may stem from a lack of love for the Prophet and the influence of Shaitan. In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:208), Allah commands:
**“O you who believe, enter into peace completely and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan.”**
We must protect our hearts from Shaitan’s whispers and celebrate the Prophet’s birth with unity.
### The Message of Unity and Peace
The celebration of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is not only an expression of love for the Prophet but also an opportunity to unite Muslims. Leaving aside sectarianism and objections, we should celebrate this sacred occasion with peace and brotherhood. Whether it’s processions, Naat-e-Pak gatherings, or reciting Durood-e-Pak, every act should remind us that our sole purpose is to please Allah and His Messenger.
### The Path of Repentance and Love
O my Muslim brothers and sisters! Let us remove Shaitan’s whispers from our hearts and repent. Celebrate Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi with love, peace, and unity. In Surah Al-Hashr (59:10), Allah says:
**“And those who came after them say: Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith.”**
This verse teaches us to pray for one another, not to create divisions. On this Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, let us adopt the Sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, participate in his celebration, and repent for our sins. This is the path that will lead us to Allah’s mercy and success.
**Send Durood-e-Pak, spread love, and embrace unity!**
*Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi Mubarak!*
