How our India reached at its pace in the matter of Digitalization !! It’s the process we use with the help of technology to improve the business in every crates of era. ‘Digital India’ : It is a campaign launched to ensure the government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity. The contribution of Andhra Pradesh Government made this dream real . Chief Minister of Andhra , Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy made started a comprehensive land survey for making the data digitised to keep the records, more transparent and to hit duplicacy . The C.M. had given the nod and taken up the survey on priority basis .The joint officials Ajeya Kallam (The principal secretary) and Usha Rani (land and endowment )took an active initiative for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.Digital India program including Bharat Net ,Digi Locker , National scholarship, digital Signature , E Hospital portal, Aadhar implementation , are the important assignment for the Government of Andhra Pradesh which leads to the proposal of data privacy ,data rich mode of stuffing were placed by the help of broadband penetration.In the place of innovation we have user-controlled data sharing with the help of UPI to boost digital payments in gram and ward Secretariat of Andhra Pradesh in Association of NPCI and Canara Bank .
The initiative ensures secured, instant and contact less payment especially needed in the coronavirus pandemic. every citizen of Andhra Pradesh has now an opportunity for doing paperless document cashless transactions with the help of UPI .The citizens of Andhra Pradesh utilize financial and non financial transactions with the help of Canara Bank (5th largest bank in the country) and NPCI.
The government has also designated a Digital Assistant, who will facilitate UPI payments for rural customers in the villages and transfer money to a common pool account where it is supposed to be credited. Andhra Pradesh government has announced teaming up with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) and Canara Bank to empower over 15,000 village and ward secretariats with digital payments in the rural areas.Andhra Pradesh has truly been one of the pioneers of the digital revolution in India. The state has deployed many digital platforms to meet daily needs of the citizens. From MeeSeva to Prajavani, schemes introduced by the government have been highly successful in the past.
For its digital initiatives, the government of AP received three gold awards at the 20th National Conference for e-governance held in January.
