This sher fits perfectly on the life and struggles of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Shahid Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, who even at 86 years of age presented the example of Karbala’s martyrs’ bravery and attained martyrdom. His martyrdom has ignited the torch of humanity, brotherhood, and unity across the world.Standing Firm Against OppressionAyatollah Khamenei always gave the message to eradicate oppression, terrorism, and tyranny from the roots. During the kidnapping of Indian nurses by ISIS in Iraq, on his orders, Shahid Hassan Nasrullah’s team gave a befitting reply and safely rescued the nurses. He taught to consider Sunni brothers as dear brothers, gave a stern message to those falsely accusing innocents of bloodshed. Why did only Iran stand against the genocide by Israel-America in Palestine and Gaza? Other Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia, which pray for Palestine’s freedom during Hajj, continued with mere prayers but lacked the zeal for real sacrifice on the ground.Historic Example of BraveryAt 86 years old, showing bravery like Karbala’s martyrs, Khamenei Sahab proved that a true deedawar never grows old. In Lucknow’s historic Fateh Imambara, Hindu, Sunni, and brothers from all religions gathered to express deep grief over his martyrdom.
