Don’t Make Students a Tool of Politics; Let Meaningful Discussions Take Place in Parliament” — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a sharp attack on the opposition, alleging that some political parties are trying to use the country’s youth and students to serve their political interests. Calling it unfortunate, he said that India’s aware and responsible youth can clearly understand such attempts and will continue to choose the path of nation-building and development.
Rajnath Singh stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government is fully committed to fulfilling the aspirations of young people and safeguarding their interests. He assured that the government is determined to ensure that no injustice is done to anyone, especially students and youth.
The Defence Minister further alleged that certain opposition leaders are attempting to create artificial anger among students and mislead them for political gains, but such efforts will not succeed. Referring to the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, he said the government is ready to discuss every issue on the floor of the House. If the opposition is genuinely serious, it should raise its concerns in Parliament instead of seeking solutions through protests on the streets.
Message to Students
Rajnath Singh appealed to students and young people to stay away from political provocation and misleading propaganda. He urged them to make decisions based on facts, focus on their education and career, and contribute positively to the nation’s development. He emphasized that aware, educated, and responsible youth are the greatest strength of India’s bright future.
