Discussion Held on Issues Related to Community Welfare; Gratitude Expressed to Administration for Peaceful Muharram Processions

Maulana Yasub Abbas, General Secretary and spokesperson of the All India Shia Personal Law Board, met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. During the meeting, various important issues related to the welfare of the community were discussed in detail.

Former Jammu and Kashmir minister Maulvi Imran Raza Ansari was also present during the meeting. Social and other important issues concerning the community were brought before the Lieutenant Governor.

Maulana Yasub Abbas expressed his gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir administration for ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of Muharram processions. He appreciated the arrangements and cooperation extended by the administration during Muharram, which helped religious processions and programmes conclude peacefully.

He also appreciated the administration’s cooperation in making security, traffic and other arrangements during Muharram. The meeting was viewed as an important opportunity for dialogue and coordination on issues concerning the community.
