Israeli attacks in Lebanon caused widespread devastation once again on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Bombings across various areas killed at least 56 people, and many others are reported injured. After the strikes, numerous homes, shops, and roads were reduced to rubble, spreading panic among civilians.

According to local sources, the attacks occurred when people were with their families for the festival. The sudden bombardment gave them no chance to escape. Medical teams and rescue workers launched relief operations to pull people trapped under debris. Several of the injured are in serious condition, raising fears that the death toll may rise.

Lebanese health officials said emergency services in the affected areas have been put on alert. Hospitals have made additional arrangements to treat the wounded, but ongoing strikes and the severity of the situation are hampering relief efforts. Many families have been moved to safe locations.

Meanwhile, international condemnation of these attacks has begun. Locals said the violence on a festival day has plunged the whole area into mourning. There are concerns that tensions in the region may escalate, while civilians are being forced to live amid constant fear and insecurity.
