Akhilesh Yadav Praises Youth, Says: “What Big Political Parties Could Not Do, the Youth Have Achieved
Lucknow: Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav praised the youth movement and their unity, saying that today’s youth are aware of their rights and that when they come together and raise their voice, governments are also compelled to listen to them.
Praising the role of the youth, Akhilesh Yadav said, “What big political parties could not do, the youth have achieved. Through their unity and struggle, they have made the government bow down.” He said that the voice of the youth cannot be suppressed and that it is the government’s responsibility in a democracy to take their problems and demands seriously.
Youth Unity Becomes a Topic of Discussion
Akhilesh Yadav said that the future of the country and the state lies in the hands of the youth. Issues related to employment, transparency in recruitment examinations, education and competitive examinations are directly connected with the future of young people. Therefore, governments should address these issues with sensitivity and take appropriate decisions.
He said that when thousands of young people come together and raise their demands through democratic means, it reflects the strength of democracy. The way the youth have raised their voice also sends a message to political parties.
Targeting the Government
The SP president questioned the functioning of the government and said that young people should not be repeatedly forced to take to the streets to raise their demands. If complaints arise regarding recruitment examinations or employment-related issues, the government should resolve them immediately.
He alleged that ignoring the demands of young people for a long period increases dissatisfaction among them. According to him, the government must ensure clear policies and a transparent system on issues concerning the future of the youth.
Emphasis on Employment and Recruitment Process
Akhilesh Yadav said that candidates preparing for competitive examinations work hard for years. Any irregularity or lack of transparency in an examination directly affects their future.
He said the recruitment process should be designed in such a way that no candidate has reason to question the system. Conducting examinations on time, declaring results promptly and ensuring a completely transparent selection process are the government’s responsibility.
Call for Democratic Struggle
Akhilesh Yadav appealed to young people to raise their voices through democratic and peaceful means. He said that fighting for one’s rights is an important part of democracy and that when young people unite to raise their demands, their concerns should be taken seriously.
He described the active participation of young people as a positive sign for democracy and said that the role of the youth in determining the future direction of the country and its politics would become even more important in the coming years.
“The Youth Are the Future of the Country”
The SP president said that the future of the country is in the hands of its youth. A country whose young people are educated, aware and conscious of their rights progresses rapidly.
He said governments should not remember young people only during elections but should prioritize their education, employment and future throughout their tenure.
Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks have sparked discussion in political circles. His statement is being viewed as an attempt to put pressure on the government over issues concerning young people and to bring the youth community to the centre of the political discourse in the coming period.
