Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Hospitalized After Sudden Health Scare, Condition Stable
Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde was admitted to a private hospital in Thane after his health suddenly deteriorated on Friday. According to initial reports, a team of specialist doctors is closely monitoring his condition, which is currently stated to be stable.
According to Shiv Sena sources, Shinde’s health was affected by a hectic schedule of political engagements, excessive physical exertion, and continuous work pressure over the past several days. During the ongoing Maharashtra Legislative Assembly session on Friday, he reportedly developed a high fever and experienced severe weakness, following which he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
After being admitted, Shinde underwent a thorough medical examination. Doctors have confirmed that his condition is under control and that he is receiving the necessary treatment while remaining under constant observation. No serious medical complications have been reported so far.
News of his hospitalization sparked concern among Shiv Sena leaders, party workers, and supporters across Maharashtra. Several political leaders have wished him a speedy recovery, while supporters have gathered outside the hospital to inquire about his health.
