Protests were held in New York and San Jose, USA, in support of Sonam Wangchuk over the NEET issue. Activists from Hindus for Human Rights gathered at Union Square in New York City and near the Mahatma Gandhi statue in San Jose on Monday evening. The demonstrators carried placards expressing support for Wangchuk, raised slogans against the Government of India, and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
