Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher’s War of Words Intensifies, Both Trade Sharp Remarks

New Delhi: A public war of words has erupted between veteran Bollywood actors Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. In a recent interview, Naseeruddin Shah made strong remarks about Anupam Kher, saying that he should not be taken too seriously. He referred to Kher as a “clown” and alleged that “sycophancy is in his blood.” Shah also claimed that their contemporaries from the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) are well aware of this trait.

Responding to these comments, Anupam Kher hit back strongly. He said, “Naseeruddin, stop using drugs. India runs in my blood. No one takes your statements seriously.” Kher further remarked that Naseeruddin Shah has a habit of criticizing prominent personalities and that he does not attach any importance to his comments.

The exchange between the two veteran actors has sparked widespread debate across social media and the film industry. Supporters and critics alike have expressed their views in favor of their preferred actor. However, as of now, neither actor has made any further official statement regarding the controversy.
