Lucknow: Dispute Erupts Between Two Shia Clerics Over Alleged Sale of Graves at Imambara Gufran Ma’ab

Lucknow: A major controversy has emerged within the Shia community over the alleged sale of graves and illegal collection of money at Imambara Gufran Ma’ab in Lucknow. Shia cleric Maulana Saif Abbas has leveled serious allegations against Maulana Kalbe Jawwad, claiming that graves are being sold for as much as ₹8 lakh each and that crores of rupees are being collected annually through this practice.

According to Maulana Saif Abbas, large sums of money are being charged in the name of providing graves, with annual collections allegedly reaching around ₹60 crore. The allegations have sparked widespread discussion within the Shia community and generated significant reactions on social media.

However, these allegations have not been independently verified, and it is not yet clear what response Maulana Kalbe Jawwad has given to the claims. The authenticity of the allegations can only be assessed fairly after all sides of the matter are presented.
