Special Meeting Between Maulana Yasoob Abbas and Grand Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Hussain Najafi in Najaf-e-Ashraf
Najaf-e-Ashraf, Iraq: Prominent Indian Shia cleric Maulana Yasoob Abbas held a special meeting with Marja-e-Taqlid Grand Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Hussain Najafi in Najaf-e-Ashraf.
During the meeting, Grand Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Hussain Najafi highlighted the spiritual and religious significance of pilgrims travelling to Iraq, particularly Karbala-e-Mualla, to commemorate the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the 72 martyrs of Karbala.
Ayatollah Najafi appreciated the services being rendered to Arbaeen pilgrims, their spirit of devotion, and their deep attachment to Imam Hussain (A.S.). He also emphasized the immense religious and spiritual importance of this sacred journey.
The meeting also included detailed discussions on promoting higher education among the Indian Shia community. Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Hussain Najafi stressed the importance of equipping the younger generation with both religious and modern knowledge, promoting educational development within the community, and ensuring a better future for the youth.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Maulana Yasoob Abbas expressed his appreciation for the scholarly and religious services of Grand Ayatollah Hafiz Bashir Hussain Najafi. He praised his valuable contribution to the guidance, leadership and welfare of the Shia community.
