Rashid Ali Minai’s Initiative Bears Fruit: Shahmina Memorial School Spreads Education and Smiles Among Underprivileged Children for 20 Years

Lucknow: Shahmina Memorial School has successfully completed 20 years of dedicated service (2006–2026), reaffirming its commitment to social welfare and education. Founded under the guidance of Sajjadanashin and Mutawalli Samina Shah and led by Rashid Ali Minai, the institution has been providing completely free education to economically weaker and underprivileged children for the past two decades.

Along with quality education, the school also provides school bags, uniforms, textbooks, and all essential educational materials free of cost, ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to financial hardship.

To mark the completion of its 20-year journey, a special ceremony was held at Aishbagh Eidgah, where Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali attended as the chief guest. He appreciated the institution’s remarkable contribution to society and prayed for its continued growth and success. During the event, school bags, uniforms, shoes, and other educational essentials were distributed among the children.

The joy on the children’s faces as they received their new school bags, uniforms, and shoes was truly heartwarming. Their smiles reflected hope, confidence, and the promise of a brighter future.

On this special occasion, prayers were offered for the continued strength and prosperity of the institution. It is hoped that these children will excel in education, achieve great success in life, make their parents and society proud, and bring honor to India across the world. This enduring service over the last 20 years stands as the institution’s greatest achievement and most precious legacy.
