Manchester: England produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat India by four wickets in the second T20 International of the five-match series. With the opening match washed out due to rain, this was the first game to produce a result, giving England a 1-0 lead in the series.

Playing at Old Trafford in Manchester, India won the toss and elected to bat first. The visitors posted a competitive total of 190/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
