Lucknow, April 7, 2026: On Tuesday evening, a heartfelt symposium on the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei was organized at the historic Bara Imambara in the city. Prominent speakers from various religions and communities participated and extensively discussed the martyr Ayatollah’s bravery, steadfastness on the path of truth, and the global impact of his martyrdom.
The gathering linked Iran’s this sacrifice to the event of Karbala, calling for unity against contemporary ‘Yazidi’ forces.
Inauguration of the Symposium and Addresses by Key Speakers
The symposium began with Dr. Swami Saran, who described Ayatollah Khamenei’s martyrdom as a symbol of dedication to faith. This was followed by Preeti Pal and Saroj Anand Narayan sharing their thoughts. The Shahi Imam of Lucknow’s Tile Wali Masjid, Fazarul Rahman Manan, presented the example of the martyr’s unwavering stance on truth. Maulana Khalilur Rahman, Maulana Asim Waqar, Sarwar Sayyed Baba Ashraf, Mufti Nuruul Jabanwar Alam, Mohammad Junaid Haider Alwi, Peer Jaysh Sheikh Janab Nahid Ali, Janab Azam Ali Minaai, Maulana Mohammad Hasnain Warsi, Maulana Jahangir Alam, Professor Ramesh Dixit, Dhani Ram, Janab Jiten Singh, and AIMIM leader Asim Vikar addressed the gathering in turn.
Emphasis on Global Impact of Martyrdom
Speakers unanimously stated that Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s martyrdom on the path of truth has awakened the faithful worldwide. Massive protests erupted on American streets against their own government, with chants of ‘Killer Trump’ echoing. One speaker said that NATO has also collapsed. This martyrdom was linked to the martyrdom of Imam Husain and his companions in Karbala, after which the Yazidi army was defeated. Today, another ‘Yazid’ and ‘Pharaoh’ has emerged, whose associates exploit young girls and indulge in immoral acts. Speakers called for taking to the streets and giving a befitting response to these forces in accordance with religious beliefs.
Concluding Address by Maulana Kalbe Jawad
The symposium concluded with an address by Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi, the Imam-e-Juma of Lucknow’s Asifi Masjid. He discussed in detail the sacrifices given by Iran and appealed to people to pray for Iran’s victory (fatah).
Maulana said that this martyrdom will strengthen the global fight for justice.
Hundreds of devotees were present at the symposium, gathered to pay tribute to the martyr Ayatollah. The event concluded peacefully.
