Lucknow. Near the cancer hospital in CG City, a massive urban park is being developed over 20 acres at a cost of about Rs 28 crore. This park, named ‘Garden of Five Senses’, will be based on a 5 senses theme. Special instruments will be installed here for visitors to experience sight, touch, sound, smell, and taste, allowing children to enjoy these activities.The park will feature the city’s first green roof library. Over 1 acre, there will be a water body, jogging track along with a sports arena including facilities for badminton, basketball, tennis court, and box cricket. An amphitheater with capacity for about 300 people, food court, open gym, and a kids’ play area with attractive swings will also be built.Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Vice Chairman Prathmesh Kumar inspected the site and directed development based on the 5 senses theme.Multilevel Parking Construction Begins in CG CityConstruction of a double basement multilevel parking has started near the fine dine scheme plots behind Ekana Cricket Stadium in CG City. Greenery and horticulture work will be done on its roof, while flowering plants will be planted on the median. It can park over 500 vehicles at a time.Drainage Canal Construction at Rs 38 CroreFor drainage in the CG City scheme, a 1.5 km long canal is being built at a cost of about Rs 38 crore. Instructions have been given to cover the canal for safety.These development works are important steps towards making CG City more modern and convenient.
